Away for a week

2 min read

Hi all!

I will be away for a week as me and my husband will have our honeymoon :) I will have my tablet with me so if you want to message me, you can send me notes/comments still. I will probably check :iconqvicreations: more often because it's troublesome to log in and out on a tablet xD

See you guys in a week and have fun! :)

Please bear with me and all these adoptable stuff.
I will be soon back to my regular artworks (comics, digimon, dragongirls etc.) soon I swear. xD

This journal will be about adopts only so if you want, feel free to skip it.

But for now I am happy to announce that I have opened my alternate account for adoptables:

:iconqvicreations: :iconqvicreations: :iconqvicreations: :iconqvicreations: :iconqvicreations:

Yes, all adoptable designs will go there so I won't spam my gallery/your messages with them - however I might still occasionally advertise my newest creations in journals. Just in case....

For now I have submitted 5 dragon people for $15 each and 8 Ribbon Wisps (my first closed species, please don't make your own!) for 600 DA points each, the latter having an info sheet as well.

Dragon People adopts [CLOSED] by QviCreations  Ribbon Wisp info sheet by QviCreations  RibbonWisp Adoptables [4/10 OPEN] by QviCreations

More adopts like original digimon, more monster girls/guys, open and closed species will come soon!

-ahem-

Next up is my raffle entry for :iconpikiru: 's super adorable Lovepuff closed species, so cross your fingers so I'd get a cutie!
Here's the journal with the contest description: <da:thumb id="535417287"/>

Lovepuff Form:

My Lovepuff's gender will be: Male
My Lovepuff's color palette: black, dark gray, yellow-green, dark teal
Additional Comments: I think it would be really cute if the hair and bunny ears (and earfluff/tail?) would be black, like a black bunny sorta. Also with a long and feminine hairstyle! To crown the design he could probably look a bit grumpy about looking feminine XP I don't know, I have this picture of him in my mind and he is super adorable. :heart:

No kidding, Lovepuffs are super adorable, if you like cute things then you should absolutely check out :iconpikiru: 's species.
Really, just read this species description and try to not go "awwwwww" :

<da:thumb id="534189902"/>

Also, Lovepoops.

That ain't no typo there. Read this:

<da:thumb id="538042953"/>

One day I shall get a Lovepuff and a Lovepoop. :heart:

I think this was all for today's adopt-filled journal. Expect some Tiamath-Hades and possibly GW2 artworks soon!

Hi all!

So a lot of things happened in the last two months and only just now did I have the time to actually write a journal about stuff. But hey, this time it wasn't a year or a half, just two months, right? xD It's something!

Okay, so, exactly two months ago on Valentine's Day, my love and I got married and everything was perfect.

......kiiinda.

The days before the wedding I was really nervous, I haven't seen my fiance during the last week and everything that could go wrong (stuff like my sister's dress) did somehow go wrong. I swear I have never seen this much drama in my family, ever. On the big day's morning it seemed to only get worse but surprisingly all my worries from the previous days dissapeared without a trace. My family was in the middle of the preparation-drama and I just sat there and thought "I don't give a **** anymore. Everything will be okay." It was weird but that newfound attitude helped me xD

I only started to get nervous again once I was fully dressed, only an hour before Feri and I could meet again and the whole thing would start.
We had a civilian ceremony (?), a photo shooting, lots of dancing, a most delicious dinner, funny games to keep the guests entertained and even more dancing. We even had a candlelight waltz just before we changed into the "newlywed pair's outfits" which meant a red-white dress for me (I could barely wait to change, the wedding dress felt like it could fall apart anytime).

Many of our guests were dissapointed....in a good way. Because you see, neither of us two are party animals. At every wedding we were invited to in the last 10 years, we kept avoiding the dance floor, kept quiet in a corner and dissapeared after the dinner, so many of our relatives and friends were expecting this to be a boring wedding where the celebrated couple stays quiet. And boy, were they wrong :D

To be correct, we were dancing till 3 AM. That day there were 3 weddings (ours included) held at the place in different buildings and ours started first AND lasted the longest. In fact, one of the musicians in good spirirts (let's just say he wasn't really thirsty :) ) from one of the other weddings joined in and danced with us because their was over already and we were still rocking it. It was funny because I was dancing with my husband and suddenly he appeared and started dancing with us. After the dance we realized he wasn't a relative of either of us and that's when we were told where he came from (turns out my father and some guests actually knew him so he wasn't trespassing). We partied and danced as much as we could and with the funny tasks that happened occasionally, the entire wedding was really enjoyable. We keep getting positive feedback from guests even two months after :)

This was the first time we stayed at a wedding till the very last minutes haha. Also, the last dance belonged to us ;) Our honeymoon is scheduled for August.

Anyhow, this was easily the most memorable and amazing day of my life. It was worth all the hassle and all the drama....and the aching feet for the next few days. Wouldn't change a thing if I could. :heart:

You can find some more photos here (I might post more later) :

I think I'll post about my bachelorette party another time XP It was quite amusing (no striptease involved lol)

Other than this, let's see what happened.... oh yeah, right after the wedding we got ill with cold and other nasties. Like, for weeks, I'm not kidding. It was always either just me, my husband or the both of us at the same time. Actually, not just us, the entire country was suffering from a flu-outbreak never before seen at the time, but by now it should be over thank goodness. Still, way to start your newlywed life, huh? xD Every time someone asked us what it feels like to be married, we just answered "We don't know yet, we are still sick so we had no time to look at what it's like.". After 10 years of being together, it's not much different btw :P

Once we were both healthy, something always came up, I have lost my job too. I was afraid it might happen but I thought it would be because I was sick for too long (even though I tried to not go on too many breaks which may or may not be the reason why I kept falling back. My also sick coworkers being around didn't help either) or that I wasn't doing a good job. Turns out they just don't have enough clients now and they cannot afford a graphics designer. I wasn't even mad or sad, afterall this meant I would finally have more freetime to draw and do other stuff.

So why wasn't I around much then you ask? Two reasons:

1, Husband had to work in another city for some weeks and so that I wouldn't be home alone all that time, I went to my parents with our hamster. I couldn't always hog a laptop there...
2, ...but mostly I was fidgeting with my 3DS anyhow. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate came out, nothing more needs to be said.

Now I seem to be able to put down the console more often though, and browsing DA has awoken my interest in adoptables again. Since the poll suggests that most of you guys aren't ineterested in them, I'll likely make a seperate account for that purpose so I wouldn't spam your inboxes with adoptable-related stuff. It will serve as a test, whether I can get into this stuff or not, this will remain my main account of course and since :iconthedigitalanomalia: will have it's next round announced in the following weeks, you can expect some drawings from me soon.

Hmmm....Nothing else journal-worthy comes to my mind at the moment. Hope you enjoyed the read/photos and it wasn't too boring!

Hi all!

It was about time to write a new journal, right? xD Boy, I sure don't overdo this journal business here.... I'll mostly just ramble about myself and stuff I did lately/plan to do soon, so if that's not something that interests you, feel free to skip this journal.

How are you guys feeling? I'm good, but also incredibly nervous because my wedding is going to be this Saturday....

....and this feels kinda weird.

Until now I was too busy with work and other stuff, I simply had no time to worry about it or fully comprehend it. Now I have the week off and I'm back at my parents' with Cocoball, working on a video that will be played during the wedding. My fiance is back at Kecskemét still, working, he'll come here on Thursday.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't want this wedding. I do want it and I love my fiance with all my heart. :heart:  It's just a little scary to be so close to the Big Day, suddenly realising that one of my most important days in life ever is about to happen in just a few days. (Have you guys ever felt like this before? And if you did, how did you deal with it?) It doesn't help that most of the preparation (cake, invitations, room arrangement, table setting, clothes, the rings etc.) boiled down to "F*** this s***, we should have stayed engaged like X and Y!" xD The preparations attracted drama at a never before seen rate, so if anyone tells us that this pre-wedding period is all rainbows and unicorns and unmeasurable happiness, we will laugh in disbelief or we might headbutt them into oblivion. It's not a piece of cake but hey, we could have it worse I guess. Besides all that headache was for this upcoming day to be perfect (or as close to perfect as possible) so in the end it will be definitely worth it.

So now we just try to finish the video and wait for the Big Day to come and embrace us.

Who wants to bet that the largest pimple imaginable will appear on my face right before the ceremony? :D

Gosh, it's like it was yesterday that the two of us have met at my webmanga's Hungarian forum and started talking... except nearly 10 years passed since then. Where did all that time go?

:heart:

I'll try to summarize the other, non-wedding related stuff:

First of all, a massive thank you for all you guys wishing me happy birthday! ;w; I'm sorry if I did not respond to your wishes, I was kind of left behind on stuff. I was already halfway into January by the time I noticed that :iconsephzero: gave me a new subscription and some lovely commissioned artworks so that's how busy I was.... xD So thank you guys so much!

Secondly, one of my dear online brothers, :iconsteadfastblade: / :iconjosephlawn: is going to visit Hungary again and needs some financial help, so he's doing awesome commissions and adoptables, make sure to check his work out (and spread the words if you can't help otherwise)!

If you do, comment below if you donate and tell me roughly what you'd like.  Emergency Adopable 2 by JosephLawn Emergency Adopable 1 by JosephLawn

Pets: Krampus is super fluffy with her winter-coat :heart: *squeels* She's 4 years old now but still as playful and cuddly as ever. I just have to be very cautious to not let her into my room now that Cocoball is in there too xD

Work: I currently work at a small Printing House as their graphics designer (not as creative as it sounds). It's kinda loud and not exactly a dream job, but my coworkers are super nice and that makes up for everything.

Games: I have to admit that among the things that kept me busy, Pokemon Y and Alpha Saphire played a big role too, not just work and wedding preparations xD Man, those games are super addictive... I've managed to put my 3DS down for a while but that won't last for long as I am eagerly awaiting the western release of the latest Monster Hunter game *squeel* for the console. I also can't wait for Arena Net to announce the release date of the first Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns. Two words: Greatsword Necros. Loki will be soooo hot in HoT soon ~
Apart from these, I have also set eyes on the western release of Echo of Soul, a korean F2P MMO that will enter Open Beta this spring. GW2 is nice and I love it, but ever since I stopped playing Fiesta Online and Digimon Masters Online, I felt like a casual anime-style MMO is missing from my life xD And EOS is the first one to pique my interest in a good while, guess we will see how it will turn out.

Mangas: If I have a little freetime, I tend to end up browsing Manga Fox for some inspiring mangas. I was very happy to learn that two recent favourites of mine won the 1st and 2nd place of the Next Generation Manga Awards, namely Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academy) and Mahou Tsukai no Yome (The Ancient Magus' Bride). Both are awesome reads and I totally recommend them to anyone! Boku no Hero Academy is still relatively fresh but it took Naruto's spot almost immediately on the shounen leaderboards. I love school/academy settings when superpowers are included and the story is so exciting and fun so far. Mahou Tsukai no Yome has a very eerie setting that can actually make you believe in faries, witches and other fantastic creatures.
Other than these, I also enjoy reading Korean manwhas/webtoons such as Noblesse (holy cr*p, that comic is a bishounen goldmine in the best sense with an awesome story to boost), The Girls of Wild's (Weak boy is the first and only male student of a former Girl-only school that specializes in martial arts on a pro level. What could go wrong? xD) and DICE - The Cube that Changes Everything (What would you do if you had dices that you could roll to enhance your own stats, be it strenght, wisdom or even charisma? Surely things are ought to go wrong if such a thing were to become widespread...)
Totally recommending these too!

DA RP Groups: While I am still present in multiple groups, currently I am only active in the OCT :iconthe-digital-anomalia: as you could tell from my recent artworks. Wish me luck! xD

Art: Hopefully I will have more time to draw after the wedding. I am also very eager to try and design some adoptable characters soon, so don't be surprised if you see some polls or journals about it pop up in the near future. Ideas/suggestions however are already welcome if you are interested in adoptables.

Hmmmm can't think of anything else at the moment. So that's all folks? Wish me good luck and a decent weather for the Big Day! xD

Hi all!

Seems like I am really good at forgetting about my journal for almost half a year... oh well, here's an update for those who are interested!

:bulletgreen:Table of contents: :bulletgreen:

I. About me
II. About DA groups
III. About art projects and commissions
IV. About gaming

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:I. About me:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:

I guess I am doing well, nothing particularly interesting happened since I got engaged apart from the engagement lunches and us changing our lodging.

We had two engagement lunches, one at Baja with my relatives and one at Kaskantyú with my fiance's relatives. Both were awesome and by the 2nd lunch we also got our wedding rings (who would have thought that the engagement ring isn't enough but you also have to spend a smaller fortune on a pair of golden wedding rings :T We didn't know but whatever...).

As for the new lodging, the new place is awesome and we both like it here a lot. Originally we wanted to buy our own house after the wedding but even with saving up and gathering money from the big day we still wouldn't have enough base money for a loan high enough to afford a nice house (by nice I mean an average row house preferably with a small garden. Not a castle but not some shanty in ruins either). Plus our old landlord kept bringing people interested in buying our old lodging and who knew when they would have found someone and throw us out. We didn't want any of that and found this better (bigger, cheaper and in the city centre too) place instead. Things went a little rough with the old landlord on the last day but hopefully we won't have any more business with them anymore. What matters is that we have a nice place this time and the new landlord is a family friend too, so we can take our time saving up for that loan/house while staying here for a few years.

Before we moved out however, one of my dear American friends whom I have known since 2007 came to visit us (well, actually he was visiting his Hungarian girlfriend and I just happened to be in the same country lol xD) and it was a most awesome day! It was really fun to meet him and his girlfriend in person and I cooked them Fisherman's Soup a la Baja :D There was also a Molehill cake he enjoyed a lot. I really hope he will come to Hungary again soon and we can have another awesome day like that! More on this here on Facebook: www.facebook.com/timea.kovacs.…

Hmm what else to say.... I'll have to start looking for a new job soon because...well, long story cut short: The company I work for is stationed in Baja where my family lives but their office was undergoing some huge renovation so me, their graphics designer couldn't work there so I could work from home. Meanwhile my boyfriend (this was last spring/summer) found an awesome job opportunity at the Mercedes Factory in Kecskemét, and after he was sure this was a good decision (he had to undergo a probation time) we both moved to Kecskemét to that old lodging mentioned above, since my job was mobile. Stuff happened, we got engaged, moved places but we are still at Kecskemét. However, the renovation will finish soon and the graphics designer will have to be there in person, which is a little problematic for me since I am now bound to Kecskemét. Therefore when my contract expires in a few months, I will have to look for another job here. Luckily we live in the city centre now and there are like 3 graphics designer companies within 2-4 streets from here (and these are just the ones that we have found thus far). While there is no guarantee that one of these will be looking for a graphics designer, I will try my luck and submit my resume in all of these, so wish me luck!

Obligatory pet news: My cat Krampus is doing well at home, she got 3 years old this spring. :) I wish I could see her and my family a bit more often. At least she's doing good, she's just as mischievous and playful as before and it's always fun to see and cuddle her when we are visiting there. A lot of people including the postman seem to like her lacking a tail a lot. xD
As for our dwarf hamster Cocoball, she is also doing well. Her terrarium is currently stationed on our desks here at the new place so I get to see her shenanigans at might while I'm drawing or chatting. Around the end of summer/beginning of autumn she will become 1 years old. Hopefully she will have a long and happy life!

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:II. About DA groups:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:

Attention, shameless advertisment ahead for the -The PKMN-Prism cheap publicity contest-

There is a neat Pokémon themed RP/Art group :iconpkmn-prism: that will launch soon. Unlike some other, Pokémon gijinka focused groups I am currently part of, this one is focusing on Pokémon trainers and them exploring a new (fan made) region, catch Pokémon, fight the Gym leaders and with some luck get to challenge the Elite 4 as well as the region's champion! Sort of like the games, except here you draw everything. The group is also founded/moderated by some friends of mine who are awesome peeps. If you like RP/Art Groups and Pokémon, make sure to check it out!

I have prepared a trainer for the group as well, can't wait to start his adventure :D

//shameless advertisment

For the other groups I can't say much right now. *pokerface* Let me try to gather my thoughts xD

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:III. About art projects and commissions:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:

Commissions are still closed until I can finally finish the ones I have still. If I have an unfinished commission business with you and we haven't talked about it since at least a month ago, please send me a note and don't be shy to change the theme of the commission since a lot of time went by and you may have different interests now. The themes of the commissions can be changed anytime until I start the inking phase.

Other than commissions, let's see...

The Future of Kindgoms. No visible updates but I keep working on the project from time to time. The biggest change that happened lately was me redesigning some of the important Zhon characters (or more like, their races) who will appear at the beginning of the story. If I get some colored pictures of these new designs, I will definitely post them on DA. :3

Unnamed story - I've been pondering about a 100% original (well, as in not based on any game/anime/whatever like TFoK) story lately, using mostly recycled ideas of mine. I have yet to find a title for it but thus far it seems to be fun. It is a story that works as a one shot/short story, but can be easily turned into a long story if there is enough interest for it. Sooner or later I will post some artworks about the characters. Maybe. //shot

Other than these hmmm..... I have a new Digimon OC :> I will post some drawings about him and his digimon partner very soon. Boy, I am in such a Digimon-craze lately xD
Until then have some GIFs I have made today about Hades the Gazimon and my new char's partner, Muchomon (Actually, I just want to see what they look like in a journal since they have transparent backgrounds xD)

*insert that cute sound digimon make when they walk/run here*

*trot trot trot*

//shot

:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:IV. About gaming:bulletgreen::bulletgreen:

Nothing much to say here either. I enjoy GW2 but nothing really happened lately that keeps me active there these days, but I am keeping my eyes on the updates. Pokemon Y - I freakin love it, still. Don't have much time to play it lately though. Sims 3 - I started to play it a bit lately after the latest Sims 4 news got me stoked. That game looks sooooo fun, I can't wait to spend hours creating characters and then building and furnishing houses xD Also, I am hoping for Digimon Re:Digitize DECODE (3DS) to get localized in NA and Europe. That game looks too good to pass. Same for the new Monster Hunter games that are PC compatible. They better be available for us and without a monthly fee!

Hmm I guess that's all for today. *rolls out of journal*
